What keeps every child accounted for

Licensing

Little Acorns is licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and inspected on a regular schedule, with our current report available on request.

CPR and First Aid

Every classroom teacher holds a current CPR and pediatric First Aid certification, renewed every two years without exception.

Secure entry

A keypad entry system and front desk sign in log control access at every door, and children are released only to authorized adults on file.

Background checks

All staff complete a state and national criminal background check and a fingerprint based check before their first day in a classroom.

Ratios

We hold our teacher to child ratios below the Texas state maximum in every room, from infants through after-school.
